Ad Hoc reports are a simple way to aggregate and create reports to your liking.
These reports are simply fetching and displaying data from the database.
• Everything is View-Only, its not possible to modify or delete any live data from this tool.
• Reports can be saved and viewed, or exported to a spreadsheet for further analysis.
Time Sheets
Using the left-sidebar menu, navigate to Reports -> Adhocs -> Time Sheets
A report showing all Time Sheets Ad Hoc reports is displayed.
• Click the 'Actions Icon' to View, Edit, Export, or Delete an existing report
• Click the 'Add' button to add a new report.
Click the 'Add' button.
• An 'Add Report' modal pops up.
• Enter a Name and Description.
Since this is a new report, we need to build it.
Using the Actions Icon, click 'Edit'.
The EasyQuery tool is displayed.
Initially, all of the Columns and Conditions are empty. We need to add Columns and Conditions. This can be accomplished in three different ways…
In the 'Entities' section, expand 'Timesheets'.
Drag and drop an Entity to either the Columns or Conditions section.
Or, click 'Add new column' or 'Add new condition', and then choose the Entity from the list.
Or, check the box beside an Entity, then click the small round buttons 'Add Condition(s)' or 'Add Column(s)'.
There are many different options for setting Conditions.
• In this example, the 'timein' was set to 'This week…
And 'jobname' was set to CONTAINS "First Company"…
When finished building Columns and Conditions, click the 'Execute' button. Results will be shown in a small window at the bottom of the screen.
From here, you can click the 'Export to Excel' button to view the results in a spreadsheet, or you can click the 'Save' button, return to the application, and then click the Actions Icon and 'View' to see the results.
Save, then return to the application…
Reports can be further refined using the 'Search Builder'.
• This is intended to be a 'quick filter' of these results; while it is possible to make a very complicated filter here, you are better off editing an existing report, or building another Ad-Hoc report.

Save the report. Export to Excel or go back to the application and View this report.
