Create a new Work Order by navigating to Work Order in the sidebar menu, then click the 'New Work Order' button at the top of the screen.
The 'Create Work Order' form is displayed.
Select a Client and a Site. Create a new Site using the + button.
Complete the form then click the 'Create Work Order' button at the bottom.
Locate the Work Order on the list of open/active Work Orders.
New Work Orders are created in 'Unassigned' status.
Click 'View' in the Actions Menu.
Click the calendar icon to be taken to the Dispatch Board (or go directly to the Dispatch Board using the sidebar menu).
- Green: Scheduled, Active
- Red: Uscheduled, To Be Rescheduled
- Orange: Waiting Customer, Waiting Parts, Waiting Quote
- Blue: Tickets
Work Order has been Scheduled. It must be 'Released' for the tech to see it.
Click on the event, a popup appears allowing the Work Order to be Released…
Use the trash can or eyeball icon to delete the event or view the Work Order.
The status changes to 'Scheduled', and the tech(s) assigned will appear on the Work Order.
Techs open the Work Order and clocks in.
Tech(s) complete the work.
All Techs must be clocked out to be able to change the Status to 'Completed'.
Once all the Techs are clocked out and the status gets changed to 'Completed', the customer signature pops up.
Customer completes this form and clicks 'Submit Signature'.
The Work Order will disappear from the assigned Techs view and the Dispatch Board.
From here, the Work Order Managers will create PO's, Invoices, move the status to Billed, and eventually Archive the Work Order.
