To Make a Time Off Rrequest, or review available and requested PTO, navigate to the user option 'Time Off Request' at the top right of the screen:
- Available hours - available hours not used or not requested.
- Pending PTO request - hours requested off but not yet approved.
- Approved PTO Request - hours approved.
- All Request - a sum of all non-reject PTO requests that have been entered in the system.
Click 'New Time Off Request' to request PTO or UPTO.
Select a Type:
Complete the remaining fields.
Fill out one Time Off Request form per day you are taking off with total hours and submit for approval. If you are taking off a week you will need to do an 8-hour request per each day.
Once submitted, the Status of the request is 'Pending'.
Action button allows the user to View, Edit, or Delete (available options change based on the status).
- Statuses are Pending, Approved, Rejected, Cancelled and Paid.
- View, Edit, and Delete allowed when Pending.
- View and Cancelled allowed when Approved.
- View only when Rejected or Paid.
If Rejected, a reason will be provided.
Execs will approve or reject PTO and UPTO using the 'Time Off Requests' dashboard widget.
Execs are not able to edit PTO requests.
Approved PTO can be Cancelled by the employee, unless its already been sent to Paylocity.
PTO gets sent to Paylocity along with the Payroll report, this changes the PTO status to 'Paid'.
Paid time will be deducted from the PTO balance in the User Manager.
PTO Calendar
The PTO Calendar is view-only.
On the Home page, click the PTO Calendar tile.
